Friends & Family Survey (November 2015)

The Friends and Family Test (FFT) is a tool for patients to have the opportunity to provide both positive and negative feedback to the surgery.

The results to the question "How likely are you to recommend our GP practice to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?" are shown below, together with some remarks:

30 Extremely Likely

12 Likely

05 Neither Likely Nor Unlikely

02 Unlikely

00 Extremely Unlikely

00 Unknown

49 Total

We are pleased to report that out of 49 responses received this month, 86% are at least "likely" to recommend the surgery to family and/or friends. It is further of positive note that 61% would be extremely likely to recommend our service.

We take on board all comments and suggestions made, below are a few of those submitted this time:

  • Always have appointment availability…fast appointments-a credit to the NHS.

Similar comments totalled 10%.

  • Sometimes there is just a male doctor, it would be nice to have a choice with a female.

Similar comments regarding this or changes with the GP's amounted to 8%. We have a GP currently on maternity leave but do have a female GP available at the Ravensworth site if any patient prefers.

  • They are always very helpful, really good at doing their jobs-great service.

We are very humbled by the many responses that mirrored these comments (33%).

  • Always good, the service is improving.

As with any service, you must continue to try to make things better and by listening to our patients we strive to make improvements wherever possible.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to complete a response during November, we appreciate it very much as all of our patients do matter.
