Ravensworth Surgery is an NHS family practice based in South Shields. Our sister surgery is The Medical Centre based in Jarrow. We are committed to providing high-quality healthcare services to our local community.

Complaints

The practice tries very hard to give the best possible service to patients.  From time to time however, you may wish to comment on aspects of your care.

Serious complaints are answered using our in house formal practice complaints procedure.  Further details are available from the surgery, just ask at reception. General suggestions for the practice are welcomed either via email, verbally or in writing.

GP Training

Ravensworth Surgery is pleased to announce that we are now a training practice for postgraduate doctors who have already worked in hospitals and are now completing training to become GPs. GP Registrars are fully qualified doctors and are an essential part of our team.
